Top 5 things to have in your pantry
#1: I use almond flour in alot of recipes and I absolutely recommend Nature’s Eats Blanched Almond Flour. It’s Naturally Gluten-Free. It’s super fine so great for many different recipes and it’s 100 percent natural.
#2: One of my most favorite sweeteners is Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener. It is a 1:1 substitute for sugar. It doesn’t have an aftertaste. It contains zero net carbs, zero calories, and is zero-glycemic; Perfect for cookies, coffee, desserts, and other sweet, sugar-free treats and that’s why I love using it.
I like this one specifically because it’s a mix of monk fruit extract and erythritol. I found this combination makes the best baked goods.
There are other sugar substitutes that I’ve tried that I love but I’ll share those with you another time. Got a sugar substitute you’d recommend? Let me know, I’ll check it out. Comment below.
#3: The reason I love using Psyllium Husks is because of the bread like texture that it creates when making this 90 second bread for example. This promotes regularity and helps ease constipation and aids in overall digestive health. This brand is great because it is organic, plant based with No Additives.
#4: Coconut flour is an essential ingredient because it absorbs moisture better than most flours that I’ve used so far. Because it absorbs that flavor from the other wet ingredients so well its great for baking as well as cooking. This is a great flour to use to bread chicken as well as make cookies.
#5: It is so important to keep your electrolytes up when you are eating low carb. You can do that by adding sea salt to your diet. This would replace regular salt. Remember to keep your potassium and magnesium levels up by incorporating low carb snacks like nuts and seeds that contain those as well as leafy greens and fish.
I will be making more of these lists. If you have a list you’d like for me to do let me know by commenting below and I will get right on it. Top 5 chip choices, or top 5 seasonings. I just want to make what you guys want to see.
