Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
3 oz Cheddar Cheese, Fat Free, Shredded
1 oz Mozzarella, Shredded
1 oz Parmesan Cheese
1/2 oz Cream Cheese
1 tbsp Finely Ground Almond Flour
Just the yolk Egg
2 tsp Italian Spices
1 tsp (add more to taste) - (Optional but I highly recommend) Trader Joe's Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend I added a link to this but if you have a store locally that sells it it's much cheaper there.

LO-CARB Keto Pita “bread” for sandwiches

I wanted to create a gluten free pita for my sandwich and I'm quite happy on how this turned out!

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees

Add cheeses (including cream cheese) in a bowl and put it in the microwave for 60 seconds, remove and mix well then put back in the microwave for an additional 15 seconds.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them to form a dough ball

Put the dough ball on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and flatten with another piece of parchment paper to form. (Alternatively separate the dough into equal parts to make smaller pitas.) I prefer the smaller pitas

Remove the top parchment paper that you used to flatten the dough to rounds and put the pitas in the 400 degree pre-heated oven for 10 minutes (do not grease the parchment at all there is no need it peels right off )

Remove from the oven and stuff with your favorite sandwich fill-ins. I would love to see your versions of this recipe let me know what you think!
